Female Afghan politician, women rights activist and N-peace award winner of 2012.

Farkhunda Zahra Naderi (Dari: فرخنده زهرا نادری) is an Afghan politician and women's right activist. She has been a member of Afghanistan's High Council for National Reconciliation (HCNR) chaired by Abdullah Abdullah.

Previously, she served as a senior advisor to president Ashraf Ghani in United Nations Affairs.[1] Before that she served as a member of Parliament (Wolesi Jirag/lower house of Afghan Parliament) from 2010–2015.[2][3]

Farkhunda Zahra Naderi is a recipient of the 2012 NPeace Award,[4] and a YGL graduate.

Early life and education

Naderi was born on 19 April 1981 in Kabul.[5] She is the daughter of Sayed Mansoor Naderi, Incumbent Sayed of Kayan (leader of Ismaili Hazaras Community) [6] in Afghanistan.[7]
