Emer timmons biography definition

Businesswoman Emer Timmons has become the first Irish woman in decades to be awarded an OBE in Queen Elizabeth’s birthday honours lists.

Ms Timmons is a former president of Strategic Deals and Customer Engagement, BT Global Services UK.

She also worked with Flutter Entertainment and recently founded her own company.

Emer Timmons will receive an OBE from Queen Elizabeth for her services to Women and to Equality.

She is one of 261 people mentioned on the Queen’s annual honorary list.

Ms Timmons is, however, the first Irish woman to be included on the list for a number of decades.

Emmer Timmons previously acted as an advocate for gender equality at the distribution company Brightstar.

She set up a Breakfast Club at the company to allow women at different stages of their careers to connect.

She was previously crowned one of Women’s eNews 21 Leaders for the 21st Century for her work on gender.
